How Nihongo Gakuin began and where we’re headed

Nihongo Gakuin was founded in 2020 with a simple yet powerful vision: to make quality Japanese language education accessible to students across the world. What started as a small class of 5 passionate learners has now grown into one of the region’s most trusted Japanese language institutes.

Our founder, Usman Ali, recognized the growing opportunities for students in Japan — both for education and employment. With a team of dedicated instructors, we’ve helped hundreds of students achieve their dreams of studying in Japan, passing JLPT exams, and building successful careers.

2020

Foundation

Nihongo Gakuin was founded with just 5 students in a small classroom.

2021

First JLPT Success

Our first batch of students passed JLPT N5 with flying colors. We expanded to offer N4 courses.

2022

100 Students Milestone

We reached 100 enrolled students and introduced online classes for students across the world.

2023

Visa Success

Our first 20 students successfully obtained student and work visas to Japan.

2024

N3 and Beyond

We launched N3 courses and Business Japanese programs. Over 500 students taught.

2025

Expansion

Plans to open a second campus and launch advanced N2/N1 courses.
